The Arizona Cardinals made several moves Monday to bolster their offense.

Former Chiefs quarterback Gardner Minshew reached an agreement Monday on a one-year, $8.25 million deal with the Arizona Cardinals, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Minshew will back up Jacoby Brissett on the team’s depth chart.

Also Monday, wide receiver Kendrick Bourne reached agreement on a two-year, $11.47 million deal with a max value of $16.47 million, his agents told Schefter.

The Cardinals also agreed to a three-year, $31.5 million contract with free agent guard Isaac Seumalo, sources told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Earlier Monday, the team also agreed to a contract with running back Tyler Allgeier.

Minshew, 29, spent the past season as the Chiefs’ backup to Patrick Mahomes. He played in four games, including a start in December against the Tennessee Titans after Mahomes had suffered a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee.

Minshew’s start against the Titans, however, ended quickly with him leaving after the third play with a left knee injury when following a scramble. Although he missed the rest of the season because of the noncontact injury, Minshew’s bone bruise didn’t require surgery.

The Jacksonville Jaguars drafted him with the 178th pick in 2019. Having played for five teams, Minshew earned a Pro Bowl honor in 2023 with the Indianapolis Colts. During that season, Minshew threw for a career-high 3,305 yards and 15 passing touchdowns.

He has thrown for 11,987 yards with 68 touchdowns and 35 interceptions in seven seasons.

Bourne, 30, arrived for a second stint with the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2 last season after injuries hit the team’s receiver room. That signing paid instant dividends as Bourne had the two best games of his career, combining for 15 catches and 284 yards in Weeks 5 and 6.

At the end of the season, Bourne had 37 receptions for 551 yards, the third-most productive year of his career and best as a Niner.

Seumalo, 32, has been a consistent starter for the Pittsburgh Steelers since signing a three-year, $24 million contract with the team during 2023 free agency.

A former Philadelphia Eagles’ third-round pick in 2016, Seumalo dealt with injuries the last two seasons that kept him from playing a full 17-game season. In 2024, his lone Pro Bowl season, Seumalo made 13 starts after suffering a pectoral injury during training camp. Last season, he missed three starts as he worked through a triceps injury.

ESPN’s Nate Taylor and Brooke Pryor contributed to this report.
