Maple Leafs Announce Stolarz, Carlo & Joshua Done For Season – The Hockey Writers – Toronto Maple Leafs

by Syndicated News

The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that Anthony Stolarz, Brandon Carlo, and Dakota Joshua are all done for the remainder of the season.

All three players were injured in the game against the Washington Capitals on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, it is just an added layer of how bad the injuries have been for the Maple Leafs this season.

Stolarz, Carlo, & Joshua Done for Season

Right from the start, Stolarz’s injury never looked good. His injury occurred when he was down to make a save within the first three minutes of the game. As soon as he went down and was in pain, it looked like his season was going to be over. Mind you, there are only a handful of games remaining, but it’s definitely an injury that is going to impact his offseason.

As for Carlo and Joshua, they both left the game a bit later in it. Unfortunately, it is hard to get through a game when you lose three players. But, with the Maple Leafs are out of the playoffs and trying to fall down the standings to secure their first-round pick. This now gives a few other players from the Toronto Marlies a chance to get into the lineup and make their debuts. Like we saw on Wednesday night and will see again tonight with William Villeneuve.

The Maple Leafs are preparing for their last Saturday night game of the season against the Florida Panthers in a game that could go a long way in determining their draft position. After tonight, they only have two games remaining against the Dallas Stars on Monday and the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday.
