The New York Giants are trading three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals in a blockbuster deal that will include the No. 10 pick in next week’s draft, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The trade comes after Lawrence and the Giants reached an impasse in negotiations on a new extension for the veteran tackle.
Lawrence is scheduled to travel to Cincinnati on Sunday for a physical that that would make the trade official.
The Giants, in their first year under new head coach John Harbaugh, head into the draft with the No. 5 and 10 overall picks.
