Adam Andersson is a young centerman who plays in the Leksands IF organization in Sweden. The 17-year-old already has impressive size with plenty of time to grow. He uses his frame as an advantage by battling hard for the puck and playing a two-way game when he is on the ice.

The center is a playmaker who creates offense with keen vision and spatial awareness, and his physicality allows him to easily take and maintain possession of the puck. His season was split between the U18 Region, U18 Nationell, and U20 Nationell sectors of the Leksands IF franchise. He played a combined 36 games and totaled six goals and 20 assists.

Andersson played in multiple international competitions too, including the U18 World Championship, the World Junior A Challenge (WJAC), and the Hlinka Gretzky Cup. His best showing came during the WJAC—he totaled six points (two goals, four assists) in five games.

Across all 19 international games, Andersson tallied a solid 16 points, 13 of which were assists. His consistent, reliable playmaking skills helped his teams win a silver medal at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup and a bronze medal at the WJAC.

He is typically ranked somewhere between number 60 and number 80 overall, but there does not seem to be a unanimous consensus as to where he will land. Andersson will need to go to a team that is willing to develop him. He will need ample time to improve his scoring abilities and skating skills before he is ready for the NHL. However, he could be a hidden gem and become an offensive weapon alongside a high-scoring forward in a few seasons.
