Jets’ Barron to Return to Lineup From Concussion Protocol – The Hockey Writers –

by Syndicated News

Winnipeg Jets forward Morgan Barron will return to the lineup this evening versus the Dallas Stars.

The forward missed the past two games due to being in concussion protocol; he took a big hit into the boards from Colorado Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson and then took a hard punch in the ensuing fight between them in last Thursday’s 4-2 victory.

Barron, who has 11 goals and 12 assists for a career-high 23 points 63 games this season, will centre the fourth line between Isak Rosen and Parker Ford.

The Jets have climbed the standings since play resumed after the Winter Olympic break and sit just one point out of the second Western Conference wild-card spot with eight games remaining.
